With the mild spring weather comes pothole repair season at the City

Every year as mild temperatures return to Ottawa the City's road maintenance crews dedicate hundreds of hours to repairing potholes.

So far in 2015 approximately 13,500 potholes have been filled city-wide. There are 18 crews dedicated exclusively to pothole repairs.

The potholes appear in greatest numbers during freeze-and-thaw conditions and can be augmented by rain which creates additional stress on the asphalt road surface.

If you spot a pothole you'd life to see fixed please call 311 or report the potholeĀ online.
